Supplies required:

  • Quilling paper
  • Head pins
  • Eye pins
  • Ear hooks
  • Beads
  • Spacer beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

My Method :

  1. Roll the light blue colour paper first into a tight circle using quilling needle connect green paper to it then continue rolling.
  2. Secure the end of green paper with glue.
  3. Give a slight push in the middle of the circle from one side and raise it above to form the bell like shape for the earring.
  4. Insert a blue bead into a head pin and form a loop and cut the excess wire, this forms the hanging part
  5. Insert 2 small silver bead inside a eye pin. Then insert the quilling paper inside this eye pin.
  6. Form a small loop of this eye pin above the jumkhee and cut the excess wire
  7. Connect the hanging bead loop with this eye pin end. Now the jumkhee bell and hanging beads gets connected.
  8. Insert the Ear hook in the loop above the paper bell.
  9. Use thin marker to add designs to the end of the jumkhee.
  10. Apply a thin line of glitter at the bottom brim of the jumkhee to add a little charm 🙂
  11. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water.
  12. Thats it earring ready 🙂
