May be because of its elegance or because of the traditional design I am more attracted to the Jumkhee designs than any other design. Jewelry Of The Week – JOTW#26

Hello Buddies ­čÖé

This week’s earrings is made out of quilling paper and wooden beads. This one is little different from the regular earrings I make. But its such a simple piece of cake anyone could just make it in seconds.But It looks stylishjotw26Supplies required:

  • Quilling paper (Black Colour)
  • Head pins
  • Ear hooks
  • PInk and blue wooden Beads
  • Quilling Needle
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

Method :

  1. Roll a black paper into a tight circle make four of them
  2. Take a head pin Insert beads and paper roll in this order Blue bead- Black paper-Pink Bead-Black Paper-Blue bead
  3. Now form a loop above this top blue bead and cut the excess wire
  4. Connect the ear hooks to the loop
  5. Thats it ! Simple isn’t it ?
  6. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water. 
  7. Thats it pretty paper jewelry ready ­čÖé
  8. Make your own jewelry and adore yourself ­čÖé

Red Bells – JOTW #16

Hello Buddies ­čÖé

This week I went back to my jumkhees ­čÖé I don’t know why but I like the jumkhee earrings more. So this week I made one Attractive red colour bell earring with white crystal hangings. It looks simple and pretty ­čÖéjotw16

Supplies required:

  • Quilling paper – Red
  • Head pins
  • Eye pins
  • Ear hooks
  • crystal beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

My Method :

  1. Roll the red colour paper first into a tight circle using quilling needle
  2. Secure the end of red paper with glue.
  3. Give a slight push in the middle of the circle from one side and raise it above to form the bell like shape for the earring.
  4. Insert a white crystal bead into a head pin and form a loop and cut the excess wire this forms the hanging part
  5. Insert a small silver bead inside a eye pin. Then insert the quilling paper inside this eye pin.
  6. Form a small loop of this eye pin and cut the excess wire
  7. Connect the hanging bead loop with this eye pin end. Now the jumkhee bell and hanging beads get connected.
  8. Insert the Ear hook in the loop above the paper bell.
  9. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water.

X – Ray Earring JOTW #12

Sorry Buddies I was a bit busy so couldn’t post for the past two weeks. But I am back again with the a new recycle jewelry this week ­čÖé This is a very simple and recycled earring made out of old x ray ­čÖéXray earring

Supplies required:

  • X ray
  • Gold Foil
  • Head pins
  • Ear hooks
  • Small gold beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

My Method :

  1. Cut four circles from X – Ray, two circles from golden paper.Xray earring
  2. Cut the floral pattern on 2  x-ray circles using a cutter
  3. Stick 3 circles in this order x-ray, golden paper, x ray with floral pattern
  4. Put holes on top and bottom of the circles
  5. Attach Ear hooks on top holeXray earring
  6. Connect white pearls on the bottom hole.
  7. Thats it earring ready ­čÖéjotw12

This weeks jewelry is a very simple and neat blue cone ­čÖéJOTW11

Supplies required:

  • Quilling paper
  • Head pins
  • Ear hooks
  • Small silver beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

My Method :

  1. Roll the blue colour paper first into a tight circle using quilling needle
  2. Secure the end of the paper with glue.
  3. Give a slight push in the middle of the circle with the help of pen from one side and raise it above to form the cone like shape for the earring.

  4. Insert a small silver bead inside a eye pin. Then insert the quilling paper inside this eye pin. Again insert a silver bead above this paper cone.
  5. Form a small loop of this eye pin and cut the excess wire
  6. Insert the Ear hook in the loop above the paper cone.
  7. Using 3D gold/silver liners and make small designs on the earring.
  8. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water. 
  9. Thats it earring ready ­čÖéJOTW11

Happy Weekend ­čÖé This weeks pretty jumkhees are ready ­čÖé

Supplies required:

  • Quilling paper
  • Head pins
  • Eye pins
  • Ear hooks
  • Beads
  • Spacer beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

My Method :

  1. Roll the light blue colour paper first into a tight circle using quilling needle connect green paper to it then continue rolling.
  2. Secure the end of green paper with glue.
  3. Give a slight push in the middle of the circle from one side and raise it above to form the bell like shape for the earring.
  4. Insert a blue bead into a head pin and form a loop and cut the excess wire, this forms the hanging part
  5. Insert 2 small silver bead inside a eye pin. Then insert the quilling paper inside this eye pin.
  6. Form a small loop of this eye pin above the jumkhee and cut the excess wire
  7. Connect the hanging bead loop with this eye pin end. Now the jumkhee bell and hanging beads gets connected.
  8. Insert the Ear hook in the loop above the paper bell.
  9. Use thin marker to add designs to the end of the jumkhee.
  10. Apply a thin line of glitter at the bottom brim of the jumkhee to add a little charm ­čÖé
  11. Apply varnish on the earring with a small paint brush. This is to make your earring resistant to water. 
  12. Thats it earring ready ­čÖé

  • Quilling paper
  • Head pins
  • Eye pins
  • Ear hooks
  • Beads
  • Small silver beads
  • Wire cutter
  • Pliers

My Method :

  1. Roll the white colour paper first into a tight circle using quilling needle
  2. Secure the end of white paper with glue.JOTW6
  3. Give a slight push in the middle of the circle from one side and raise it above to form the bell like shape for the earring.JOTW6
  4. Insert a bead into a head pin and form a loop and cut the excess wire this forms the hanging part
  5. Insert a small silver bead inside a eye pin. Then insert the quilling paper inside this eye pin. Again insert a silver bead above this paper bell.
  6. Form a small loop of this eye pin and cut the excess wire
  7. Connect the hanging bead loop with this eye pin end. Now the jumkhee bell and hanging beads get connected.
  8. Insert the Ear hook in the loop above the paper bell.
